This piece by artist Manuel Palou is a one terabyte hard drive containing illegally downloaded software that – if purchased legally – has a value of five million dollars. 5 Million Dollars 1 Terabyte, 2011 is controversial comment on the perceived value of information and the role of copyrighting in the era of illegal downloading. It’s on the very edge of art and legality and poses questions about the true value of both. MDKtm
